The Ask
With an empowering docuseries release on the horizon, KY searches for ways to spark conversation—inspiring women to say (and get) what they want.
To align with docuseries messaging, I strategized brand tone-of-voice guidelines for use across platforms, created relatable brand-focused social media content, managed the brand's community of followers through engagement and escalation, and offered perspective via informative blog content aimed at helping answer questions most womxn are afraid to ask.
The Impact
In the end, these efforts led to a successful launch of the docuseries and opened the door for womxn to finally get what they want.
Community management and response moderation helped foster an inclusive space while generating meaningful conversation about the brand's docuseries pre- and post-launch.
Above all, the opportunity to manage such a unique community (and the chance to monitor the brand's promoted Twitter trend, #GetWhatYouWant, for 24 hours) led me to experience a claim to fame I'll never forget—an out-of-this-world exchange with acclaimed actor (and apparent KY fan) William Shatner.
